Winter 2021
Dear Community Members,
As 2020 comes to an end and we look forward to 2021, the
changes that have occurred around the world, in our nation, in
our state, and in our lives bring apprehension about the future.
With the uncertainty that comes with the global pandemic and
Wyoming’s changing economy, it is an appropriate time to be
thankful for where we are and to look hopefully towards what is
to come.
The adage “the only constant in life is change,” was certainly
true for 2020. How we conduct business, work, education, and
many other aspects of our lives is now different. These
changes provide our community the opportunity to, as we have in the past, work together to overcome challenges and find
new ways to succeed.
Whitney is excited to embrace these changes as we work with local individuals and foundations to move forward in
completing funding for the renovation and construction of the Allied Health Sciences building at Sheridan College. Planning
for this endeavor has been underway for several years and the global challenges we have encountered this year have
reinforced the countless benefits that expansion of healthcare training will provide. Despite the changes that have occurred
in education over the past several months, investing in current and future generations through funding programs at
Sheridan College will continue to be a key element in community betterment. The Whitney Student Loan program will also
continue to grow in 2021 as we recognize the increased need for aid during times of economic hardship.
Amid all the changes we have encountered with success this past year, I look forward to 2021. I know our community will
continue to support opportunities for growth, and I hope you will join us in keeping the Sheridan area vibrant and reaching
new heights.
With Whitney Regards,
Roy Garber
