Spring 2021
Dear Friends,
It has been over a year since the COVID-19 pandemic began. While there now seems to be an end in sight, the non-profit
world remains committed to adjusting to today’s new realities. The political, economic, and social disorder that our nation
and our state has endured, requires actionable changes to be made by community leaders.
Across the nation, non-profits have worked to become more
mission-focused and robust. More is being asked of these
organizations because of the recent challenges to our
educational systems. Whitney Benefits has stepped up to the
task by taking meaningful steps to plan, organize, and
produce impact in our community. Modifications have been
made to Whitney Benefits grants to help our community pivot
to new priorities. Flexible agreements have been created to
facilitate creative collaboration with local organizations to
meet our pressing community needs.
Increasing availability and effectiveness of local educational
opportunities despite recent challenges remains a high
priority for Whitney. We will continue to respond to ever
changing needs and help community members as they use
education as a tool to move forward in the current economic
climate. As local-nonprofits continue to meet the call for
change in the community, Whitney joins in the response to
recent challenges. We will continue to move forward to
promote local educational enhancements.
With Whitney Regards,
Patrick Henderson
